
A small side table made in the Arts and Crafts style. It is built from two parts: a drawer on top and a frame below.

The drawer is made of English oak and joined at the corners with dovetails. The frame underneath is walnut, which gives a darker tone against the lighter oak.

The drawer does not sit directly on the frame. Instead, the two are held apart by floating risers, leaving a small gap between them so each part stands on its own.

A stool made entirely from ash.

The top is left with its tool marks rather than sanded smooth, so the work of the hand that made it stays visible. The legs take a different finish: stained with Indian ink and then sealed with a coat of wax.

Creepies are traditional fireside stools, low enough to creep up close to the fire with.

These ones have a walnut top set on an ash base, finished with Osmo oil.

Walnut Creepies


A traditional low back chair, built from plans by Lost Art Press. It is one of a pair, made entirely from English oak.

The seat is saddled by hand, carved to shape, and finished with Osmo oil.
